Possible New Boss

Recommended Posts

So like most we have had enough of the dross on and off the pitch.

We need a new manager, new ideas someone the fans would love maybe even an ex Owls, some would say the greatest right back to ever play for us.

I'm am putting the name in the hat for new Owls manager Roland Nilsson. Currently managing the Swedish under 21's, has good managerial experience in Scandinavia, a market we used to get a lot of players from.

He could get time from the fans at least because any fan over 30 will have see him wearing the blue and white with pride, it could be just what we need to heal some riffs. Or not you decide.

Mark Robins, doing an amazing job at a club that might be an even bigger shower than us. They pick up some good youngsters and loan players too, if that ever became the managers job here 😉

Kenny Jackett (Portsmouth) ?

Was at Rotherham for about 6 games. Soon as he realised what he'd let himself in for he was off so i doubt he'd entertain a basket case like us.

In the summer maybe. Would prefer someone up and coming on the rise. Sadly, don't see us staying up this season, with Monk or Bullen in charge. I'd have already got rid of both of them by now but DC will wait till the end of the season or will give one or both of them the chance to rebuild us in the summer, which I think will be yet another mistake.

Personally I'd take a punt in the summer on someone like Gareth Ainsworth for example from the Lower Leagues. This season, however we needed more proven experience but long term we need to be more sensible and forward thinking, and to let someone develop some sort of plan, I'd give someone like Ainsworth, their own coaching support and allow them time to build but I doubt DC would be that sensible or forward thinking.

Wouldn't be at all surprised if we're yet again talking about changing managers next year.
