The club's status in the Championship trumps anything else now. After that is secured then a manager has the summer to put medium and long term plans in place. Monk knows that won't be him, so he will stubbornly leave out the players he has fallen out with in the hope that the points deduction we get won't be enough to send us down. I thought Pelupessy only played because Luongo isn't fit right now and Dawson is only playing because Wildsmith only does well against c r a p teams.
