Sam Hutchinson

this is getting ridiculous ,if he is gone and not at club why the bloody hell don't monk just say? im not buying a lot of whats getting said. all I know is Hutchinson always and I mean always gives 100% on pitch , cant say the same about most of the other players . if he wont play for us again then we are relegated already. my only hope for this season was monk getting sacked and Hutchinson back in as staying up this season might well be the most critical phase in the clubs history. with bannan and pelepessy as a middle 2 we wont win a game this season and will probably get another 2-3 5-0 tonkings .

Like what?

Failure is failure in what ever money, he had the biggest money chest than any manager before or since and Fecked it up.

Because of his refusal to bring in any players with pace or Physical attributes that we are in the mess we are today.

Would not argue with that..just pointing out he got us to 2 play offs.

In my opinion, I don't care what Hutchinson is like off the pitch.

He could be an absolute weapon, or he could be a delightful man.

What I care about is how he is on the pitch. And I've never not seen him give his all. He'll pick up bookings and he might get injuries, but he's always in the battle, and that's what we've missed.

Monk should put personal issues with any player aside if it brings better results on the pitch.

You could also argue (very strongly) that Carlos put in place the very culture that is killing SWFC at the moment

A real laissez-faire setup, player cabals evidently ruling the roost.

CC was far too much a neophyte here to see/avoid it.  Sure tried to act the hardman in the FF contretemps, came across rather silly.

Not a high earner NOT TRUE

Not trying to force a move elsewhere NOT STRICTLY TRUE

Not a bad role model DEPENDS WHAT YOU DEFINE AS A ROLE MODEL, IM GOING FOR NOT TRUE

Not toxic towards the fans TRUE BUT IRRELEVANT

No better alternative in the squad DEFINATELY NOT TRUE IN TERMS OF

Regardless of what the future holds, it makes me sad to see him being treated like this...very inspirational figure for me.  IT SADDENS ME THAT FOOTBALL CONTRACTS ARE WATER TIGHT (SEE FIRST RESPONSE)

Frozen out by Jos & Monk, adored by Carlos & Bruce.

Probably the most inspirational story of a footballer in the division and gives 110% every match, plays each game like it's his last and very public about his love for the club ...qualities we could use right about now.

I'm assuming you were pro-FF in the Norwich dustup a few years back.

I was, just seeing how far you're willing to go here.

"Giving his all" seemed to equate for Hutch in stupid, rash tackling and a propensity for extended injury outages.

I bet Hutchinson has made more tackles this season Pelupessey.

After the QPR game somebody posted that they were sat behind Monk who for much of the game was ranting and raving at Hutchinson for playing so deep. The poster said that Hutchinson ignored him. Hutchinson hadn't played for us since. Rumour has it that it carried on after the game.

I don't want to speculate as to what he may have done, as clearly nobody on here has a clue. However, it may have undermined the manager / his teammates / the club without being a clear and obvious breach of contract.

Sounds heinous.

let’s look at the present and he’s still our player until June....he’s 20 times the player pelupessy is!!! Put him in the side and results will improve, if not we could quite easily be in a relegation battle in 2/3 weeks time.

smell the roses with the 12 point deduction we are 5 points from safety and certain relegation . if Hutchinson has played his last game that's us done. is house was put up for sale on 12th feb so clearly after his fallout with monk , house sales take a while anyways so clearly knows he is leaving in summer anyways ,but that man would put 100% into keeping us up this season if he was selected.  what has he done whats that bad? whats worth us getting relegated? .stop cat footing around giddings when you ask monk ,are you scared you might upset him? I know jos got very agitated when he asked jos the same question.

I seem to recall literally everyone moaning on here saying we were always playing too deep.
