If I didn’t think it was a stupid thing to suggest

you might think that Monk was being told who to play and how to play .

Oh and the reason nobody spills the beans is when they leave and take their blood money is the N D A

This problem has been created by not selling players on and rejuvenating the squad, if this happened we would be looking at one or two leaving in the Summer, the players who would be leaving may be unhappy but it would not have any adverse impact on the majority

now most of the squad collectively are leaving, they would know whether or not a new contract was in the offing, whether Monk said anything or not. This may have left most of the first team feeling bitter, maybe towards Monk or the Club or both.

All we can hope for is that we have just enough to see this through.

Yes this 100pc. Success or failure always emanates from the top. The club lacks leadership and guidance and worryingly our Chairman appears to be very naive when it comes to running a professional football club. He surely needs help but seems reluctant to enlist help. All this filters down an I genuinely feel that our famous old club has lost credibility together with the respect of the league, other clubs and players in general. We will lose a lot of players soon (quite rightly if they are not performing) but we will then be left having to recruit many players who actually, might not want to come due to the reputation we seem to be gathering and if they do come, we need them to perform and gell together straightaway.

Hard times indeed. Get ready.

Since Chansiri has been here no manager has failed as abysmally as Monk

To suggest he he is in any way a minor symptom is laughable

He's hugely complicit in the current shitshow

Monk has been far from perfect but it’s difficult to apportion too much blame when he’s practically telling everyone that the players aren’t doing as they’re asked and from the outside it looks like they’ve downed tools.

They did the same to Carlos, Bullen and Luhukay. Maybe they have too much player power.

Shame someone won’t actually come out and tell us what’s really happened behind the scenes rather than us having to rely on rumour and speculation.

This.  Monk has acquitted himself terribly, but a manager change isn't going to stem the rot.

Current?  It's been a shitshow save for a few months under a known commodity like Bruce.

The fact he was so eager to pack up and work for Ashley (coming home, my arse) was in no large part due to I'm sure sweet nothings promised in the courtship with sw then never followed through.

Are we really still pretending that this cataclysmic collapse is nothing more complicated than the dropping of Westwood and Hutchinson?

It not improving a bad lot though is it.

might be the difference in scraping a few wins and avoiding relegation.

I'd rather see Wildsmith in goal than Westwood.

Whatever has happened, what happened to playing for the shirt? Playing for the club? And most importantly, playing for the supporters who have been nothing but impressive and loyal for so long?

I agree - but few players seem to think like that these days.

Indeed and when he ask him to swallow his pride and bring back Westwood and Hutch. His pride got in the way again. him and DC are the perfect match. They can do no wrong and it is always someone else's fault

This is the main problem here. DC and Monk will refuse to admit they were wrong and DC especially refuses to employ anyone who can guide this club in every area of the club

Never felt as let down by our club as I do now.

In the past when it was this diabolical, we had no money.

To have spunked 150 million and be this bad is criminal.

This is one of the main reasons why I am so despondent .. why I am close to just sacking it all off, why watching this current shitshow is so painful and tedious and makes me so angry at times.

To spunk the amount of money we have up the wall and be in no better position then when we were flipping skint is outrageous. Mind blowing. Embarrassing. Shambolic and downright disgraceful.

We are rotten to the very core

remind me again, how many managers were desperate for the job when Bruce jacked off??

It’s not about someone knocking on our door, it’s finding the right manager. Obviously Wilder was keen for the United job for obvious reasons

and they struck gold.

I felt sorry for him tbh

clearly massive issues behind the scenes

Even if Monk decides to walk or if he is sacked, NO-ONE else will come in and fix this absolutely shower

bad times

I agree. Monk is probably 3rd on the list of people to blame behind DC and the players. Monk showed he can galvanize a team last season once Birmingham were deducted points.

I think he’ll walk away as this whole situation is badly tarnishing his already shaky reputation. The players have fully shafted him.

I'm afraid the club is in a heap big mess irrespective of Monk. Take a look at our coaching staff, it's just Monk and Bullen. Considering Bullen is unproven as a coach, Monk has a virtually impossible job on his hands. Here's how the same page looked in March 2019. It's frightening how short we are in this department.

When Bruce and his assistants left, it not only meant we should've had an impressive coaching budget, but should've also had an additional £2m compensation to boot.

It's DC that's responsible for this shitshow.

He had a good go at em.

and will pick most of the useless ones again next week.

This is what gets me with Monk. It’s NEVER his fault. The players are crap ( they weren’t before Christmas),it’s westwood and Hutchinson’s fault, the players don’t do what I tell them, they won’t be here next season, there’s “ problems” I can’t go into, it’s social media. Absolutely anything other than “ I got it wrong”.

He has left every club he’s been at worse off, with the fans hating him. There’s a bit of a pattern Monk, you’re not very good at your job, now does us all a favour and walk before YOU do any more damage to our club.
