Inspector Lestrade
The galling thing is we finally get a rich owner and due to FFP we are stopped in our tracks. Then we have to compete against clubs with parachute payments

Based on what’s online the owners of Fulham, Barnsley, Stoke, West Brom, Bristol City, Preston, Ipswich, Reading and Cardiff are all richer than DC. Most of your examples quoted a luxury experiences or treats that people will indulge in on special occasions or when they have substantial disposable income. Football supporters regard watching matches as a lifestyle habit and a regular out of pocket expense even for people on low incomes. I agree but in doing so trying to be objective in terms of ignoring for a while the fans perspective and giving consideration to those out there on the pitch. They have sense of self entitlement so great that they see a million a year or more well within their range of expectation. This level of expectation is out of kilter with the expense involved in Owlstalks starting blocks. Buy players with potential and sell at profit players aren't turned over in the same way anymore. Loans are an ever increasing part of the market. Improve commercial side of business Shop in situ, the shop is on line. Increase positive comms to fans Maybe a starting point would be to increase positive comms from fans. Improve Matchday catering Yes it V Poor but not dissimilar to many of our competitors. Ensure ticket purchasing is easy SAG have played a part here, also on line ticketing needs looking at. Acquire major sponsorships Be nice to get someone like Petronas on board. Pre Chansiri corporate was not very profitable. Attract corporate partners and keep them Our former corporate partners wanted a big say in pricing, simply it was a none starter. Scout and secure the best youth for academy The big boys take the cream of the crop, we fight over the scraps. We have to be patient and see what the end of the season brings. Change must, at the very least sweep over the EFL and hopefully the Premier league. Not too hopeful if the setting up of the womens game is anything to go by. Football at professional level becoming more uncompetitive by the season.

Nothing to do with any other clubs It requires clubs to be savvy in the transfer market. P & S/ffp doesn't stop clubs from spending per se. It defines the need for a strategical approach that we do not have. Providing players are moved out, it creates the capacity for bringing new players in. We buy but hardly ever sell. Is it any wonder we break the rules?
rawsheffield
Really...it is a simple enough equation to solve it just takes Chansiri to admit he's got it wrong the last 5 years (which will never happen). Matchday Prices £25 Kop £25 Lep (for home fans) Lower Lep given to community sources for each game. £30 South £30 North (with away fans at the Lep end) £5 discount for members. Membership £30 per year. Season Tickets Kop/Lep £350 North/South £450 Kids £99 Students £150 Simple and easy to understand. Gets our fans behind both goals. Solves the issue with North Stand entrance and exit as away fans get exclusive use of the gates on the Lep side.
