Look at this and tell me why..

On Saturday, I paid £31.00? to sit in the North Stand.

That is with a £5.00 reduction as I have a Membership.

£31.00 (£36.00) to watch a bunch of multi millionaires take the pi55 for 90 minutes.

No thanks.

Were you on the north stand or the kop? They’re the kop prices.

It was £34 for members in the north stand on Saturday, £39 for non members

It never ceases to amaze me how aggressively some of our fans defend being ripped off

I always imagine them going into shops, and getting really angry when theres a sale on, and demanding to be charged full price...

Buy players with potential and sell at profit

Improve commercial side of business

Increase positive comms to fans

Improve Matchday catering

Ensure ticket purchasing is easy

Acquire major sponsorships
Attract corporate partners and keep them

Scout and secure the best youth for academy

Thats the starting blocks

Yeah fair enough but that is going to take a number of years and I doubt you would get a major sponsor willing to sponsor us whilst we wait to get promotion.

What does commercial side of the business mean?  Seems a very sweeping statement local advertising and local sponsorship wasn't bringing enough money in.

I agree ticket prices need revisiting as he has now come to an enpass.

Your idea may well work but it will take time and fans  will fall away in the meantime.

We chucked money at it by Wednesday standards and the gamble didnt pay off.

At £39 it worked out at £1 a minute for time in the ground

Weve had 5 years so far - with a major sponsor on our shirts and all over our stadium (and a number of made up ones)

Have the likes of Brentford failed to find sponsors?

Have their attendance plummeted?

Fair enough but what price would tempt you back for the same seat?

It was £43 in the south stand on Saturday so £36 to £43 for non members.

It’s £33 to £39 for the next two home games against Forest and West Brom

Love Brentfords model.  The fans are on board they are on the crest of a wave.  Its taken a few seasons and its paying off but their fans have a lower expectations and even getting to this point is a dream come true.

Would our fans  have been so patient?

Like I said you might well be right and

I wish that DC outlined at the start that he wanted to get the club back in the Prem in certain number of years what ever path he took lower or high prices.

We had lower prices before DC and it didn't work.

These ‘while we wait to get promotion’ lines need to stop.

We’re miles away. It’s more like we’re waiting to get relegated.

If we manage to survive as a championship club over the next 18 months and maintain crowds above 20k it will be a massive achievement from where we are now

I don't expect us to charge crazily low prices.

The prices for the South and North are too high right now.

I think the South is often in the £40.00 bracket without membership and is in the high 30s with it.

It is far too much, particularly when we are getting served up dross like that on a pretty much weekly basis atm.

The overall perception of our club is that it’s now too expensive to bother even looking at ticket prices

Scary

Not to mention that our current pricing scheme wouldn't look out of place at Bletchley Park. Members, non members, 1867 scheme, Gold members, silver members, 10 year season tickets, 3 year season tickets. Why is it so complex to come and watch us?
