This one is for all the fans who say that the high ticket prices are justified because we have to contribute more so that we can compete/get promoted

Look at all the other clubs that charge way less than we do for tickets

Look at the above and then explain it to me because I’m confused

The vast majority of clubs that are spending more than us have had parachute payments to support that spending. It clearly hasn't worked but we are paying for high wages. I explained this is one of your other multiple threads that you started recently but you seem to pick and choose what you want to debate when provided with certain answers.

If anyone can explain why we have the highest ticket prices that would be great

Already done that, see below

the graphs are from an article on Forest and FFP

(forest are fine as they made money selling players at profit)

You have pinpointed the main reason why our strategy hasn't worked long term and we have discussed this in detail in other threads, not sure why you needed to start a new one when you have provided the answer to you own question a few minutes later.

I'll have a go.

Mr Chansiri! The very embodiment of how not to run a football club.

It starts and ends with him.

could do that by

Player sales at profit

Creating a better Matchday experience

Making ticket buying more attractive and easier

Improving the catering on matchdays

etc etc

Yeah could do all that.

But none of that has been done in 4 years.

Best way to generate more revenue and a better matchday experience is to be competing at the top of the league.

Brentford’s wage budget to how they play and where they are is incredible.

Unfortunately I'd say Utd's is more impressive.

Still doesn’t answer why we are paying the highest ticket prices and yet are plummeting down the league, have poor facilities, poor catering experience and non existent communications from the club on strategy

It also explains why they have no problem moving players on to balance the books. The buying club can easily cover the wages and then some. The players would not take too much tempting.

So why aren’t Brentford’s ticket prices as high as ours?

I shouldn't need to answer that. They have better transfer strategies. They balance the books more effectively buying cheap and selling at a decent return. Something we do very badly.
