Depends if your on a big fat wage, it's January and your contracts up at the end of the season. You either want to leave becouse this place is run like fawlty towers or know your not getting offered a new one..

I said it before with boyd, Jones, abdi etc. They knew they would be replaced as would more than half this sqaud if we did go up and wasted to stay up, so whats the motivation to get promotion if you'll be surplus to requirements anyway??.

How many of this sqaud do you think are actually capable of playing Premier league for a team above the bottom 4??

There is no evidence that we would let loads of players leave if we were to be successful - we are a 'family' that don't allow players to leave when we are not successful! Besides which, a fair few of the ones that will be out of contract have been our best performers this season - Fletcher, Fox and Hutchinson had played as many consecutive games as he ever has done.

The motivation is to play for a new contract or to put yourself in the shop window to get a decent contract somewhere else, wasting half a season wont do that. Why were they seemingly well motivated to grind out results for the first half of the season?

Reaching the Premier League would be fantastic in that case.

🤣🤣🤣

Your recent posts suggest you think Monk is doing a good job and should be given more time. I keep asking you to provide any evidence that this is a good idea in terms of his work with us and his previous jobs........

Only they know bud, but obviously there's more going on behind the scenes than what we know or gets leaked.

Players throwing a strop and being disruptive becouse they're not in the side, players upset their best buddies been dropped. FFP, possible points deduction. Some don't get on with others. Theres a whole boat load of reasons, but I can't see it just being down to falling out with monk as the one singular reason after all he got us up to 3rd somehow.

The Toxic Monk is a great name for a Marvel Comics villain.

They ran than one in 1979. Somebody ate him and died.

Apparently DC is willing to sell the name Taxi Monk if anybody wants to buy in? (Allegedly he tried to buy Abbey Taxis and they told him where to stuff his Princes Pink Salmon shares, so he got the Monk on).
