BUMP

6 shots faced

5 conceded yesterday

granted the abject surrender in front of him doesn’t help but Westwood doesn’t stand for that in the first place before facing the shots

This is Jos’s last days all over again and you all seem to have short memories

Westwood best keeper in the league

Neg me as much as you like, I'm 7,000 + in front of you.

I'll say it again... Westwood isn't best keeper in Championship.

And calamity isnt even championship standard!

Maybe wants taking out of team for a while but just looking at goals from yesterday  I wouldn't lay blame on him for all 5.

Possibly first and that's it, we could have 2 keepers in net for second goal and it still would have gone in.

You could put question marks against most performances yesterday.

The defending! :duntmatter:

A chocolate Fireguard (or teapot) would represent a greater defence between our white posts than Dawson

Meanwhile the best keeper in the league is sat at home with his slippers on dragging 20k+ per week

Keep in clapping though yeah

Ha best keeper in league .shut up kieran

A good defense can make a bang average keeper look world class and a garbage defense can make a world class keeper look awful . A decent amount of the pot shots taken at him should have been stopped in the oppositions half never mind getting to the final third . Imagine being a young goalie when most of the ten in front of you can't be bothered to track , put a foot in , tackle and as for taking one for the team , no chance of that whatsoever but you still pull on the shirt knowing you are going to be peppered with shots and then get slated .

Definitely not to blame for all 5 but it's a big collective and calamity is definitely a big part of the problem.

I blame the manager and coaches for playing him and the chairman for giving substandard players big contracts. He should really have been released last season or have him loaned out and see if he can improve.

Throwing one in the net after 10 mins is no-one else's fault but his own.

Like the rest, he is deserving of criticism

By the way, despite our awful defensive work he’s hardly facing any shots on target...problem is he’s letting most of them past him.

nvm the fact our backline is absolute doggo.  Lees especially.  Losing a rock like Hector was going to kill any precious momentum from last season.

And Westwood was far, far far from being best keeper in the league.

We were 3rd.

Clearly the momentum was well and truly destroyed when Hector left.

The Dawson apologists are starting to do more harm than good for their prodigal son

*writes this one down on the list of cliche's we are being served up currently along with 'you weren't complaining about chansiri when we got to wembley' and others such as 'get megson in for the rest of the season'*

Throw it away all you want

It’s reality.

And no one was enjoying riding that wave than Garry Monk.

So unless something had occurred since then I can only assume that he really has no clue how to build ‘a winning changing room’
