Nando’s employees call for changes to cleaning pay policy,

No wonder he's playing out of his skin ,what with today's headlines, he's clearly after a new contract as it appears he needs more money for his house keepers!!!!:biggrin:

So you would play Rhodes before Forestieri?

Those stats don't tell everything. They can be made to look whatever you want by picking the relevant info.

Let's just agree to disagree when it come to Forestieri.

I don’t get you.

You say Forestieri isn’t a striker, yet you keep comparing him with other strikers.

Would I play Rhodes before Forestieri? No, I would play them both, in their best positions.

Fessi worked hard for the cause last night in a game that wasn't pretty, the man is ring rusty who wouldn't be after the length of time he's been out but with a run in the team and a couple of goals that will be the time to judge. The whole team as a unit are way under performing, okay we won last night and nobody more pleased than me but we will have to play a whole lot better to get results in our next few games.

I look at goals and points. There’s never a “workrate” or “pressing” column in the league tables.

No - but no team would get many goals or points if no one bothered to work hard either.

If Reach and Luongo are still not fit for Saturday I would hope for this line up, the partners for Borner and Fletcher to be based on whoever is looking best in training etc.

                    Dawson

 Palmer   Lees/Iorfa   Borner    Fox

 Murphy   Lee     Bannan    Forestieri

       Wickham/Rhodes.  Fletcher

I think Borner is the least in form CB we have, but apart from that I certainly agree your front six.

FF has proved he can score from distance so why not have a crack even if sometimes there's an option to pass. Another day he'd have had 1 or 2.

I think the only places up for grabs in the 11 for Saturday are a replacement for Harris and who partners Fletcher up top.

I still think Cruz has shown promise, I'd like to see him start a game now we seem to have found a bit of form again.

FF has shown he can play well in the support striker role, let’s keep him there

If you play Murphy and Harris on the touch line like we do and then play two out and out strikers , ie not somebody dropping a bit like FF , then it is a big ask for Bannan and Lee.

More than likely outnumbered  in there and Saturday it will be Rooney with time and space.

We can make it work but it needs the two strikers to totally dominate their central defenders.

As opposed to the loads of goals we score every game when he doesn't play there.

Looking to impress, he might have been told to shoot on sight. He will get his range soon and start to bang them in.

He has a great work rate but does need to be more aware of other players in better positions
