That's how long it's been since we scored a goal at Hillsborough. It was Dec.29th when Tom lees scored against Cardiff , can't remember the last time we went this long without scoring at home.

Saying that u think we'll win tonight.

And despite this pathetic home form, Charlton are still 4/1 odds to win tonight.

I might take one for the team and lump on that and the draw at 13/5 to give us a chance of a win, as my gambling record is awful. It's quite laughable that we're actually odds on to win...

Dec 26th 1974 v Bolton home 0-2

v millwall 0-1

v southampton 0-1

v norwich 0-1

Apr 19th 1975 v oxford 1-1 (joyous scenes at Hillsboro witnessed by 7,444)

v Villa 0-4

8 consecutive home games without a goal.

Could be just 1 game behind next week then!

Imagine the ecstatic scenes of wild delirium as we bag an injury time scruffy offside deflected handball goal against City though. The 16-1 defeat won't even matter as long as we score that all important goal.

I remember it all so well, but for one thing. I saw every game except.....Oxford.  The rest made my eyes bleed.
