Is this the beginning of the end for headers?   Or is it Health and Safety gone mad?

Does it really justify such a move? Are there millions of victims of heading?

The outlawed tackling a few years back now no one knows how the tackle.

It just people jumping on a band wagon without having a clue - the footballers of the 60's headed what in todays game would be classed a brick of a ball noweverdays the balls are more fly away that heavy balls

And those players for the 'good old days' are three and a half times more likely to develop dementia.

Well, I for one think it's a good move.

It's not like they're removing heading from the sport, just limiting its use with kids.

Most kids hate heading the ball anyway so it'll not be a big miss. They can concentrate with keeping the ball on the deck, and introduce heading once they've got the other basics of the game sorted.

Top level football, where players are already financially set for life, heading is dwindling in both quantity & quality

It's clear some players are only willing to head the ball, with their (thicker) forehead plate

The further down the football (& financial) pyramid you go, where players are still trying to 'make it', the better heading ability you'll see

You think you’ll see players with better heading ability than say Virgil van Dijk and Harry Maguire down the pyramid?

Do you know these lads names? We need to get them signed up
