It has now been proved that it is possible to operate within the confines of P & S and still remain competitive. Some clubs do and our city rivals have even achieved automatic promotion doing just that. There are other examples. Difficult yes but not impossible. What you are saying is nothing more than a poor excuse for financial mismanagement.

Is it also difficult to buy the stadium from yourself in the correct accounting year? Few businesses are easy, but it doesn't appear DC was even trying. Only has himself to blame, for running the club like a circus.

If we get charged by the EFL, then it will go down as one of the biggest f ups in the history of SWFC (that is saying something).

He sold the stadium to himself but didn't do it quick enough.

What a numpty.

Might be something in it...

Tbf, whilst to us mere mortal the idea of buying a football club seems bonkers, we are talking about billionaires.

We can but hope.

Probably sees us as the next Man City, with the Blades being Man U...

:duntmatter:

Noticing a trend? Doesn't sack managers quick enough. Doesn't sign managers quick enough. His spirit animal must be a (golden) sloth.

The only thing he did quick enough was break the world record for the largest football shaped cake. Incidentally nobody else was even attempting this impressive feat!

They are not. They are getting pilloried because of the methodology adopted to circumvent the system, not the actual finance injected.

DC is pilloried for being a bit crap at running a football club.

That's putting it kindly.

@DBowl has history of discussing boardroom type stuff. In 2018 she stated change will be apparent soon.

Is it a real ITK account? Who knows, but nobody should be surprised if DC is trying to move the club along.

If he is, at least he is still investing in players.

I don’t think making a prediction that hasn’t come true two years later should score you many ITK points.
