Someone else getting your scapegoat vote for yesterday then seeing as you'd struggle to slag Bannan off this time?

Bannan had a good game, great, earnt his wages for the first time in over a month, his he best player in league now cus he played well against Birmingham?

Lees isn't good enough, stevie wonder could see that, 'the great servent' is the problem, its cringy

As cringy as starting a thread slagging off fans for having a go at Rhodes when you had made multiple posts doing the same thing?

Lees is playing poorly, so are all the other CB's. The last time we had a good run of results Lees was in the team. He has been dropped during our current poor run and things haven't got any better.

As for this whole captain thing...

Well, he might not be the best captain, but he has been picked as captain (or vice) by three or four managers now.

Suspect with Lees it is probably to do with how he conducts himself off the pitch as much as anything. Clearly, a good pro who looks after himself.

100%.

I cannot fathom why Lees is being singled out. Certainly it can’t be based on results as Borner-Iorfa in tandem have been utterly dire.

Its odd. We have 3 CBS who at times have each been a Rolls-Royce, yet recently have all been Trotters Independent Traders’ van. Which given our manager was a CB is just plain odd.

I have said from the off. Tom is the best of the 3. Nothing I see makes me change that view. Far from perfect, not at his best, but Id pick him every game.

Isn't there a case for Lees as club captain but someone else as playing captain?

You're probably right, but what difference does the captain make. Are the other players relying on him to gee them up, encourage and rally them. If thats the case we should have "captains" all over the pitch, taking responsibility and influencing the game. We have enough experiencè in the squad that the players shouldn't be looking to one person for inspiration, hes not the captain of a young inexperienced side. We should be more vocal in all areas and not rely on Lees.

We should be but we're not.

Needs a Roy Keane or similar type on

Yeah but look at the quality of players Keane had alongside him. We've not got a Keane but we have enough experience in the side. I don't think the captain has the influence that some people expect.

Mentally and physically weak, the same as the majority of this squad.

This .. and lacking leadership. No one with the guts, passion or fire to spur the team on neither .. just a bunch of footballers that turn up and waltz about

Some shocking defending for Brum's 2nd and 3rd goals ... abject
