Popular Post Lord Snooty
"God it's been awful. Just awful .Week after week. Drudgery. It wears people down mentally. Not just physically. It's never ending. You feel like you're going to drown it's that bad. It brings anger and resentment. It really tests your mettle, you wonder if you'll get through it, and you know for a fact that others won't. It's the worst part of the season." "I've always wondered why you like football so much ,Sir" "Eh?! I'm on about this weather Stubbs! This bloody dreadful weather. I can't remember the last time we made 7 days without a downpour. And the wind, by Morax, that wind... it makes children and Animals mardy. It's a well known fact. But the football? No. Sometimes you're good sometimes you're bad. Good runs. Bad runs. I reckon I've seen us more in this division than the top flight over my time , some terrible players, some dreadful managers. This lot don't come close to being the worst by any stretch of the imagination." "But it is a bad run, Sir" "It is. But then we'll win a game and stop it. And then we might go on a good run. Or we might not. We might go on another bad one. That's football, Stubbs, that's football. Maradonna hasn't got a European Cup winners medal but Djimi Traore has. That's football. It doesn't make sense. it's not 'one plus one equals two'. If it was the bookies would be bankrupt and half the clowns on my news feed would be managing in the Premier League and not sat at home playing with themselves." --------------------------------- BIRMINGHAM -V- WEDNESDAY Saturday 22nd February Kick off : 15:00pm St. Andrews THE TEAM NEWS --------------------------------- BIRMINGHAM BIRMINGHAM striker Scott Hogan, who suffered an ankle injury in last week's 1-1 draw with Brentford, is a big doubt after scoring three goals in four games since joining on loan from Aston Villa.. My humour will dip as the moaning, mumping, griping and sniping reaches fever pitch as kick off approaches. To be replaced at 4:50 by delight for me as we win and the bayers slope off for a miserywank until next week.

Gresh
Time for the players to show some character and put on a performance at Birmingham with an away win. Make it happen Wednesday!
Popular Post Samurai Blue
I reckon today's game will subvert many people's expectations, with the visiting manager returning to haunt his old club in a free-flowing, entertaining contest. Prediction: Chelsea 1 - 2 Spurs 1
Rev Owl
A brilliant summation MiLord. Trouble is, it's all too true. Personally it's a coin-flip who I'm more frustrated with, the frustraters or the frustratees. Cheeky 0-1 to the Massive. Morepork
Match day - sets frustrations aside and gets behind the team, it’s the only way. In line with my continuous lowering of expectations I’ll be satisfied if the team coach finds its way to the Black Country...
trumbullowl
Excellent as ever, and very philosophical. But it aint the weather making Wednesday fans mardy, it's a shambolic defence, overrun midfield and futile attack. All we are saying, is give us a goal.....please Connor (Connor Wickham and Garry Hooper scan pretty similar....let's hope we just can't get enough). The only way is S6
Short & sweet today mi lord, like Babs Windsor. Great aerial shot of St Andrews, cleverly not showing what a dump it really is. Monkfish gonna be breathing fire for this one. Looking to vreak his rewenge no doubt. Can’t predict score / result but I know one thing. If we’re 10 nil up, with 30 seconds to go, Jutkiewicz will still score one against us! Iorfa really does look like a 250K player last 6 games,Borner looks totally knackered before we kick off,Bates and Lees?Take them outa the firing line?Maybe rest the underfire cammy and give wildsmith a go,summat needs to change at the back, its a comedy everygame, just not one we can laugh at! I hope we see Lees-Iorfa. Iorfa-Borner become a rabbit in headlights.
jonnyowl
It's not the likely result that depresses me, it's the expectation that Birmingham are going to dominate the game. Can we string 5 passes together? Can we create some chances? Can we avoid a defensive horror show?
