I stopped reading the “clubs want deduction” thread after the first couple of posts, so thanks for updating grandad, some of us appreciate it.

it does seem bizzare that the case has gone ahead with absolutely no update from the club. Not very good at communicating are we?

Not saying this is the case but, perhaps we're bound from saying anything at all until it's decided.

Very often in legal cases including arbitration the parties make their submissions in the hearing and then there is a delay while the panel or judge studies the evidence, checks the relevant law and comes to a decision. This can take a long time in some cases. In others it's quite quick but it seems like a long time if you are waiting for the outcome.

Confidentiality is one of the attractions of arbitation over litigation. Usually all proceedings are confidential and even arbitration awards can be kept cofidential,

But in the EFL case its seems not. Here's what EFL APPENDIX 2 - PROCEDURAL RULES says:

20.1 Subject to Rule 20.2, any Applicable Tribunal shall be entitled to publish any judgment, decision or award.

20.4 All evidence given and any other elements of the case record (for example pleadings, documents, correspondence, statements and submissions) shall, subject to Rule 20.1, be confidential.
