Such a naive decision by Monk. Why tell a player now he is no longer part of his plans especially when Dawson isn’t performing as well as needed. What if Dawson gets injured, I guess he would throw Wildsmith in.

Just sums up DC that. Westwood been told he’s not part of our plans, a club come in for him, surely any money would be better than no money, yet DC refuses. And some people wonder why we are in such a mess.

Rhodes to Norwich springs to mind.

He was happy to sit on the bench, waiting for his turn, as he did for the Forest and Bristol City games.

Then Monk decided he was done. Worked out well didn’t it, but Monk knows what a successful dressing room looks like apparently

How did that end for Jos. Just remind me.

Continues to have rapport with his team mates, who since Westwood got told he was for the chop, seem to have lost a bit of focus.

When you’re close as a squad, as we were, then the manager starts to swing the axe, it can sometimes have a detrimental effect. People wonder who is next.

Brilliantly handled by Monk. Well done fella. Bravo.

Next time, tell them when the season is over and we’re safe.

Plenty of other windows still open outside of Europe. Maybe Out in America for a season? He’ll like it there, they don’t play over winter as it’s a summer league I think.

You're the tops at turning unsubstantiated rumour into fact, such a pity you can't do the same with our league position !

If I recall correctly, one rumour posted a couple of weeks back was that the deal for him to go to Huddersfield was essentially sorted, but then DC decided he wanted more money and pulled the plug.

Going off of everything we know, I can easily believe it

Correct.

If Monk had any sense every player not needed would be told at the end of the season when we have nothing to play for!

What if there is a deal in place in the window with the player 50/50 thinking he’ll stay out maybe? Would you tell him then he’s not in your plans?

Hopefully he won't be here much longer to tell them anything.

I will never understand players being told they aren't part of a managers plans especially when under  they signed a new contract 6 months ago.

Sorted that

No falling out so why isn't he playing because lets face it, Dawson isn't fit to lace his boots.

For me More justification that monk needs to go - sounds like a clash of personalities , monk can’t handle them
