shandypants
Apparently, Semedo was a player that kept order in the changing room. Liked by all but was no pushover; dedicated to the club and quelled dissent in others. Does this type of player exist? Maybe @scram can give an insight? If Semedo was that player then, my god, we miss him.
S36 OWL
We definitely miss a player like him in our midfield.

i used to be sc_owl
If we gave Semedo a shirt he would improve our midfield right now.
33
Semedo's cat would be a better option than one or two of our midfielders
Rogers
I was shot down for saying let’s give Loovens a shot as manager or at least assistant. Would it be worse than what’s currently happening? Gerrard, Lampard, OGS, have all been given chances at bigger clubs than ours.

bladeshater
Semedo certainly didn't have a massive ego someone who played football for the love it if course he got a decent wage from us but is wasn't the be all and the end all
Bigger Guns
We’re missing 18 players like Semedo. He’d run through a brick wall for Wednesday. In response to a few saying he was a limited player - aren’t this lot?
McRightSide
Nothing more anchored in the past then Wednesday fans Semedo WTF
Kopparberg
Knew his role. Never got pushed around. His quality is up for debate but he had a set of balls on him. He had the mentality we need.

TrickyTrev
I’d rather have Semedo in the side than Pelupessey.
Tea Baggins
Right now we miss a real leader in this team. Hutch would have been the one but he's clearly ruined that chance. Pelupessy is too weak. I would seriously look to the free transfers and see who's about. Just a short term deal to the end of the season.
Wednesday_Jack
A team always needs a leader...Gerrard at liverpool, keane at Man U for example. Yes semedo was a bit limited in terms of technical ability but he was quality for us at times!! He was also a huge character around the the place and he was a leader. SiJ
We can only speculate, but I imagine the likes of Semedo, Loovens governed that dressing room and kept people in check. Who do we have now to do that? A meek Tom Lees and the alleged malcontents of Hutchinson and Westwood. There are no leaders on or off the pitch.
