Their form over the last 25 games would have them in 4th — our form over the same amount of time would have us in 22nd Surely you can reverse that in our favour for the first half of the season? We haven't got an in demand squad.

Guest
I also think a keeper is priority along with strikers this summer. Karl Darlow would be top of my list to come in.
Hack-Abusi
Middlesborough have a few out of contract - George Friend, Ryan Shotton, Adam Clayton, Patrick Roberts, Marvin Johnson and a couple that have left already - Rudy Gestede and Daniel Ayala

swfc-dan
We need to be signing promising Prem academy players for the future, especially as our academy system is still only recently improved. Bashiru seems like the exact type we need in there, a midfielder with strength and legs to get up and down. Not enough of these Gerrard types nowadays. Another avenue we need to be looking is league one/two and hunting the gems from below. Our finances dictate we can't sign ex-prem players like FF, Fletch etc anymore. Teams like Preston and Brentford have done brilliantly plucking the gems and we need to get better at it fast. Plenty of league one players who can make the step up, hope we can find a striker or two from down there.

I think you need a mixture really .. especially in our situation You need youth and gems but experienced pro's to assist and lead the club
room0035
Not sure if mentioned elsewhere but Birmingham City have are in the process of making the best signing of the summer so far they are bringing in Karanka as their new manager. He does not play pretty football but he is very effective in the championship and a very good record not to mention very good contacts many forget he played for Real Madrid for 5 years in his playing days. He's decent for them. Will probably stabilise them and kick them on. Doesn't make me jealous though.
