Kachunga is a right winger and has been for the last 3 years, Paterson is a utility player who I believe was a right back up to 18 months ago and Windass is a midfielder as I said just calling someone a striker does not make them one.

The only strikers we have are Rhodes and now Marriott very thin on the ground if we are going to be playing a 3-5-2 formation.

1. Kachunga is a STRIKER who converted to a winger so Udders  could play 5 midfielders in the Premier League
2. Windass is a STRIKER who has also been used in midfield. Openly admits he prefers playing up top.

3. Paterson is a STRIKER who was converted from wing back and actually scored 7 goals as a STRIKER in the Premier.

However don’t let facts get in the way of your nonsense...

What the chance of Westwood ending up at Stoke with Fletcher and Fox. They will be needing a replacement for Butland and if they take him off our wages that would be good business.

Angus Gunn is set to join Stoke City from Southampton after completing a medical, Football Insider understands.

The 24-year-old is Ralph Hasenhüttl’s third-choice keeper and is now set for a temporary switch away from St. Mary’s.

Well not according to monk, his recruitment team and the players so you might have to get used to the idea that we won’t be signing another 2-3 strikers

The last game against QPR he missed two sitter that a striker would not, he does not have the instinct to be a striker and its not something you learn over night. if we had time to bed him in but we start 12 points behind everyone else we need strikers putting the ball in the back of the next consistently not once every 7 or 8 games.

For me as an attacking midfielder or in the midfield 3 he will be very useful for us, but an out and out striker not a chance, without an experienced striker playing next to him.

Remind me of those please

Would've liked him to have joined us

Birmingham City have agreed a late deal to re-sign Chelsea defender Jake Clarke-Salter on loan, Football Insider understands.

doesn’t look like there will be anymore for us. Still missing a wing back and target man imo.

Agree with that part pal and i do see what your saying but i do think he has that knack of being in the right place as a striker, yes he missed against QPR but all strikers miss.
