Following a £14 million move to Stamford Bridge from Bundesliga outfit Augsburg in 2015, he has gone on to make just 15 first-team appearances in the Premier League for the Blues. Chelsea basically sign players up to loan them out. They usually have about 40 on loan with barely any getting games with the first team. I thought there were moves afoot to stop this practice.
