Kachunga was a free transfer, even if he on more money a week than leko still won’t add up to the money we offered for him( transfer fee)

There’s no such thing as a “free” transfer. The transfer fee goes into the players pocket, rather than to the club he’s left. That’s why players let their contracts run out, so they can negotiate a fee with the club they join.

Never said the player came ‘free’ it’s called a free transfer cus no transfer fee outlay ? I said if you factor in his wages ( even his signing on fee)? No way will it amount to the fee and wages that would have been involved with leko ?

How many are we seriously looking to sign

now?

1 more striker?

You're not seriously expecting anyone on here to know the answer to that question, are you?

A few will make out they're in the know; others will present their personal opinion as fact...in truth, none of us know.

Depends, I reckon we’d planned on bringing in another 3 or 4, but I think somethings happened over the last couple of weeks, so maybe just one more, yes

What happens if the clubs says no you can't have a transfer, you get £5000 a week and that's it, take it or leave it?

That’s the danger of running your contract out? You may well end up a lot better off or you end up scratching around looking for a deal? ESP in today’s climate ( covid19) bet there is loads of players who now are starting to panic?? The longer clubs leave it the less players will get ? No doubt the better times are snapped up straight away but your squad fillers and back up players will start filtering don the league’s

Holland looks business and a bargain. £1 million wont be a problem for quality who will make big profit later.

And we bid a million for that guy who signed for Brum last month.

An article in southern press said 4 clubs were after him. Two premier clubs wanted to buy him Brighton and Burnley from memory and two Championships clubs had asked to loan him. Bournemouth was one think other was QPR,

It said would not fetch huge money due to injury problems and very few games. Therefore Hammers prefer to loan as he is talented lad and could come good.

Do you think we are interested?

We were linked when he was down here at Oxford, but we don’t really play with wingers anymore do we

Can only go on what Monk said, “he hopes to get another couple in” and we know one of those is Zohore, so doesn’t take much working out does it

Again you know nothing, the club and the manager are keeping their cards close to their chests .
We could be In for 4 or 5 players before the window closes

There could be movements in and out

I’d take Dion Sanderson on loan and a further striker addition either on loan or permanent and think we will probably be done. The striker would have to be a ‘lead the line’ type which we currently don’t have.

If the striker is a permanent deal then we may look to just add a further loan to fill a certain area.
