I suppose that works if you don’t recontract them on a huge salary that puts off any suitors.

£2M is the rumoured amount, it’s probably a load of pony, I’ve no doubt he’ll be sold but I can’t see us letting him go in this window for that price, it’s just silliness.

I don't understand why people seem intent on diminishing what Brentford have been doing. Here's a post from a few weeks ago that highlights not only where they have been so successful (certainly in monetary terms, if not yet league status) but also more starkly only underlines how pitiful our dealings have been by comparison.

Bristol City have signed 3 I thought we would have got,

Mawson,Brunt and Martin a good spine ot a team that,we end up with

Lee's,pelupussy and Reach..ffs..

And they'll get £7 million if Tarkowski goes from Burnley to West Ham.
