Swansea getting Gibbs-White is such a great deal.

If they can get a striker who can hit the form Brewster had last season then they’re my tips to go up.

They've got a decent manager and a young squad. Lost some key players but bringing in decent players. Can see both Swansea and their rivals Cardiff both in or around the top 6 again.

However, it's hard to see any of the non parachute payments clubs going up. Brentford should make a good push again, with 2 or all 3 of the clubs going up probably being among the clubs that came down or still receiving parachute payments.

Along with player sales, parachute payments will probably be an even bigger advantage in the current climate more than ever, with most of the rest of the division apart from Brentford making do with bargains, frees and loanees.

If we keep recruiting sensibly like last year and so far this window, and eventually generate some profit from player sales, with a younger and more dynamic squad we could in time emulate the likes of Brentford and Swansea.

Huddersfield also in for Garner. Would love him here.

He'd be a very good signing for any club at this level. It's a good sign that we're at least in the running or considering some quality young players.

The three players we've already brought in, look like having attributes we lacked and should give us a bit more athleticism; physicality, dynamism and creativity.

Several more of a similar ilk, most particularly in attacking areas and defensive midfield and we should look like a more solid and dynamic team.

Agree, really want us to stick with this policy

Maybe we could try and borrow young Greenwood, not the Man Utd one, but the Arsenal one, I’ve read good things about him. As you say though, I hope we still pursue that type, and not return to buying run of the mill championship players who won’t get any better, and have no resale value

My mate supports them and recons he want out of the club because he wants  to play first team football.

Journey man.

Injury prone.

Welcome to SWFC Scott.

Tbf he'd be ok in our ever increasingly desperate situation.

Actually having no forwards is going to put pressure on us to sign just anyone, as kick off draws near. At last, we are targeting some very good players, and in the positions we need, let’s not fizz it up now
