Always gutted to see Pelupessy & Nuhiu start

Would have preferred Hunt and Wickham.

If Hunt had been picked in the starting line-up there would have been a deluge of outrage and dismay.

Also whenever I see a line-up that has Dawson and Pelupessy starting I automatically fear the worst. I thought Monk might do alright here but who was I kidding?

If Westwood wasn't such a knob then he would be starting,  Joey, may not be the answer but he is always available, gives his all and obviously does what his boss asks.

The fact they are both available for selection should warrant our support.

3-1 reading.lol

My post isn't aimed necessarily at who he's picked, more that he chops & changes the back line every week. One of the keys to not conceding is a settled back line.

For what it's worth I'd have gone with Odubajo rather than the young lad. If we concede early the atmosphere could get toxic.

Injured or he may have.

Have we ever been so far away from knowing what our best 11 is ?

I honestly don't think anyone has a clue.

Mad times.

Quite a few have been advocating a Hunt start.

JP for all his huffing and puffing has been appalling for much of the season, (last week against Barnsley it was enough to make your eyes bleed.)

My only hope with regard to JP is that he is more confident in the absence of BB who seems to spend most of the game bollo..ing him.

You wait.

We'll win today 4-0.

And every comment in this thread won't have aged well.

Then we'll finally believe we've stopped the rut.

And then we'll lose the next three games.

I'd rather him start than Lee and Pelupessy. We're guaranteed to get overrun in the middle with those two.

This all day.

I don't remember even Jos making as many changes over the course of 3 or 4 games.

Smacks of desperation to me

oh I agree about constant changes, 100%. I keep saying it doesn’t matter whilst we continue wi5 the same game plan, it just doesn’t suit our squad of players.
odubajo I think is injured isn’t he though. Lees needed dropping and bannan whilst ever we play this style imo it’s pointless playing him, we need to change our game plan but it’s a certainty he isn’t going too. So bannan might as well sit it out.

We are desperate though.

We look like a relegation team on the slide. Monk is desperately trying to discover a formula.

I can see where he is coming from, in leaving Bannan out.

This will try and get us playing further up the pitch towards their area, rather than the edge of our own area.

Hope this works.

Agree, hunt is nowhere near ready yet. Too weak imo. Needs some time on loan

Tbf I have stopped even being bothered who is in the starting line up. Until we change tactics it will be to more of the same today.
long  balls coming straight back at us, even more so today because I actually think despite nuhiu size he’s the worst player to play that role we have.
I hope he proves me wrong today I really do but I have never seen such a tall man who can manage to decrease in size to 4ft 6 when he jumps.
he does a job sometimes off the bench but he can’t play that role. Without fletcher we are goi g to have this problem because Monk simply won’t change his style.

Just looked at the Reading team sheet. They have a player on the bench called A. Masika. I hope it isn't an omen of things to come. lol
