I doubt it too but.... I mean, it would actually be a good thing if we won...

It certainly would be a good thing if we won........

But I honestly cant remember a time (except possibly the 70's) when I've  felt so disillusioned, supporting Sheffield Wednesday........

For all his faults, Carlos, in his first season, gave us, not only, exciting, quality football, but real Hope for the future.

It was a great time to support Sheffield Wednesday.

Since that time, things have slowly and painfully turned sour, on and off the field.

I class myself as an optimist, but I'm struggling to find much to be optimistic about at the present time.

Love Flash, a camp classic!

Could probably do wi Brian Blessed delivering an inspired team talk!

Reckon that's about the best team we could stick out there today.  Not a fan of Forestieri at wing back.

Just a bloke. Being dragged along in a world that moves too quick for it's own good.

Still want em to win but....

Been here so many times.

Jos Laws Jones Irvine Yorath Jewell Turner Eustace Burkenshaw etc.

Monk is toast.

Have weird feelings that a win only prolongs the managers agony so aren't as bothered by a defeat.

In fact another Blackburn brings a change more quickly.

I am off to Notts County v Woking today for a local stag do. Funnily enough the football might actually be more entertaining. I will check the twitter notification, get annoyed no doubt but the beer will see me through.

Are you going dressed as Wednesday players for comedy effect?

OT regulars may remember the change of pre match breakfast routine after the Blackburn massacre. Out went the tried and tested Bacon and Eggy bread to the more continental style Greek Yoghurt and Muesli. That doesn’t seem to have worked either so at no expense spared the boy and I have had kippers sent down from the Angus coast last night on the  Caledonian Sleeper.

Fingers crossed that this new breakfast formation works.

Fletch I love you - but we only have 14 games to save the season

The bookies have us at evens to win today and Reading out at 3-1.

Surprised by those odds

They'll be taking Reading's poor form into account as well, and favouring the home team being 4 places above the visitors.

How little they know about the Wednesday Way.

Yeah just looked at Reading’s form... they’ve not won in the league since New Year’s Day

Good man. Feeling slightly more confident knowing that.

I've bought some new pants so let's see if they are lucky ones.

It's only Reading. No reason we can't get a result today and forget the misery of the last few weeks. And if we are s#$&e again, well, it's only a game of football and win or lose, the result is likely to mean nowt in the big scheme of things. Realistically, we are just playing for the fans and Monk should be getting ready for the summer rebuild, regardless of whether he's up to the job. WAWAW
