BigTavowl
Good question. I can’t remember Monk utter his name once in any interview, nor any journo mention him since his injury. Another player who came with promise, but showed us absolutely nowt.

Guest Kagoshimaowl
Give him a try. Borner and Lees have been abysmal in the last few games.
Morepork
Singed on loan and we've never seen him. Nailed on to become a permanent in the summer.......

Generally, the three ahead of him have played well so he hasn't had much chance to be involved. What's weird about that? Lees is looking like a flipping ninety year old, borner is off form and fox is injured. If he can't get a game now he's fizzed to be fair.
Westfield Owl
Waste of wages really. If the bloke can't get minutes on the pitch even when we're on a terrible run and looking increasingly vulnerable in defence, it makes you wonder why he was signed. When you consider that we started the season with Lees, Borner and Iorfa all fit and available. All Championship-standard CBs. Then with the likes of Hutchinson, Fox and Thornily (yes I'm aware he's since been sold) all capable as cover options, signing another CB just to make up the numbers was an expense we probably could have done without. That money we've actually wasted, would have surely been better used by strengthening our options at full-back, centre-midfield or up front. Too many signings have made no sense whatsoever.
scilly owl
He’s probably hoping and praying that Monk keeps forgetting that he’s a Wednesday player. I expect he turns up each day wearing overalls and carrying a paint brush . “ You still painting the North Stand on your own pal” says Monk. ” Yes, the work experience lads just don’t turn up “ replies Bates.

S72 Owl
Only one game I know but he looked like a lower league defender when I saw him against Rotherham. Thorniley looked much better in that game.

We should try to get disability caters allowance to generate extra revenue It's SWFC diversity and inclusiveness programme. Wednesday are woke. We can tick that box. I met and kept in touch with a few Hamburg lads from when we were there for pre season and although they said he wasn’t a world beater they think he's a steady defender and they only let him out on loan as they got a new manager and he fancied his own players. Halifax Owls
I think this goes back to the Carlos era when the club unwittingly signed up to Article 18 of the European Treaty on displaced footballers. Thankfully now that we’ve left Europe we’re in the transition phase but no doubt we’ll continue to abide by the treaty. True story.
