Iorfa played like someone told him we were reverting to 3 centre-backs about 5 minutes before kick-off, might give Da Cruz a mark or 2 higher for effort. The three centrebacks looked they thought the football was a wasp nest. Hoof ball to Wickham who didn't win a ball all night but then again what do you expect when that's not his game. Bannan totally overrun in central midfield. MoM FF For 45 minutes of endeavour playing in a position that he didn't have a clue how to play. Just let that sink in. I have been pushing for 3-5-2 but by Christ I thought we would work on it first and then pick people in proper positions.....I just cant back Monk one iota after tonight, his positional selections were laughable. Borner 4 - Slow but battled and came forward. Lee 3 - Not himself. He’s done. Offers little. Bannan 3 - Pressed out of the game as usual. FF 5 - Tried to be positive. Failed to deliver. Windass 5 - Got in behind but lost ball lots. Palmer 3 - Poor tracking. Slows things up front. Da Cruz 5 - Huffs and puffs. Delivers nothing. Wickham 4 - Not strong enough. Will never play that badly again. Horrendous. Lees 3. Marginally better than Iorfa and Borner but looks way, way short of form. FF 6. Must have been wondering what his team mates were playing at. Bannan 3. Now completely out of form in all areas. Incredibly poor. Da Cruz. 3. Looks a long way short at this level. No craft or guile at all, ran down blind alleys, didn’t use the ball well Windass 3. Has added nothing. Got we miss Luongo. Lee 5. Not the player he was, but ran and tried. Wickham 2. Houston, we have a striker problem. Looks a shadow of the player he was. Murphy 6. Lively , ran and did ok harris 6. Same as murph Nuhiu 6. I know the options were limited but lees off and oddjob on palmer to left back should have been the first change after about 15 mins Overall pathetic performance don't know why I have renewed my season ticket really starting to wish I hadn't still I have time to cancel it another pathetic performance against Reading on Saturday to look forward too reckon everyone of them is looking to avoid any physicality until we play Man City in the cup looking to make sure they are fit for it.
