Sounds about right to me. I honestly think weve got 2 regulars at the moment who are conference level, Joey's 1, I'll let you lot decide the other.

Conference is harsh, but for me Palmer, Reach, Lees, and Pellipussy have all performed little above div 1 level this season.

We all know he isnt good enough.

It's like coming in from the rain and saying.

"It's wet out"

Everyone knows.

Still. It's an easy one to point out I suppose.

Papers over the other cracks.

He did win a tackle mind,  on woodrow.

Hang the bastærd!

What would make you think that Joey would get a tackle in at div1 level? Or Lees actually being able to pass to someone in blue n white with out it being a hit n hope and getting lucky?

Apologies to Joey. He made 1 tackle not zero.

Legend.

If only we had someone in the club who could tackle. Then perhaps we could pick him.

Unfortunately he's a bit of a Cockwomble.

We have the same issue in the goalkeeping department.

2 better players not in the team, but both with their heads firmly up their own arsses.

Reminds me this of the Ashley Westwood times.

One  of the lowest paid players, clearly not  good enough player , but who tries gets slaughtered.

While well paid players , who should be good enough and who don't get near their potential get a free pass.

It's the way of things I suppose.

Nothing changes

Think you'll find that no contact with the ball, and it's one of the 4 fouls.

:bullen:

God some bad games that era.

Makes our current highly paid wasters all the more disappointing.

Allegedly - and this is the problem with the last 3 years. We appear to have had a rump of 'senior' players doing what they please. This wouldn't happen at Bramhall Lane and is why we are drifting around in the same position as when DC came to Hillsborough 5 years ago and yet he's £100m poorer.

But they are family so it's ok.

It’s like the usual weekly thread complaining that Atty is too slow.

It’s as if people expect him to be quicker than he was last week.

You think it's unreasonable to expect Joey in his role as a holding midfielder, to make more than zero tackles in a game  ?

I think you have just defined Apologism.
