BaxiOwl
Just a question 'What does he give us' In my opinion today he was no better than Nuhiu. Don't get me wrong I'm a Wickham fan from his first Hillsborough exploits but I know he's a bit older he's a big lag but won bugger all headers, should have put Fessi in for a tap in to win the game but didn't. As a Wednesday fan I hope he can do it but I ain't holding my breath.

BaxiOwl
I'm not writing him off, but he needs to show a bit more commitment or jump as if he's not wearing diving boots.

agentwalker
If all I had to work with for 90 mins were hoof balls up to my head I wouldn't give a crap either. Get it too his feet and turned towards goal and he showed what he can do. Ran half the Kenneth if the pitch and outpaced and out strengthed 3 defenders. 83owl
He’s suffered a major injury followed by a number of setbacks. Anyone expecting him to be the same player as before (especially in his first game) is going to be disappointed.
BaxiOwl
Been a season ticket holder for 30 years go to as many away games as I can, you decide if I'm committed. Just decided I'd like to put my 10d in.
dr. benway
Inevitable thread give it a few more games and then I’m all for the pile on. No one covered themselves in glory today. sadly, football’s still a team game and yer new signing still requires teammates that can do the basics. Owls2k
Today was Wickham's first league start since Nov 26th 2016. Let that sink in.

BaxiOwl
Agreed, we need everybody to be committed starting with the 11 on the pitch, all for 1 & 1 for all, if the player do their job we supporters will do ours.

Can’t be good for a 26 year old to go over 3 years without starting a game. Could take a while to get match fit and firing again
