Why don't we try to radical tactics of trying to pass the ball to a team mate. Because Monk only has one way of playing, regardless of the opposition or how it's going. It's the same reason Bannan has been non existent, because the midfield is always bypassed, and the same reason we have struggled since Fletchers injury because he is the only striker we have with any hope of doing anything with a ball fired from the keeper or defence onto his head. He’s a young lad who has made a few mistakes in the last few weeks and simply needs taking out of the firing line for a couple of games to re-focus. It’s all part of his development as a young goalkeeper. 18 or 19 is a young lad. Fully grown man now, deserves to he dropped. No shame in it happens all the time. Work on kicking a ball straight should be simple enough for a professional player.
Rhubarb n Custard
Wouldn't swap him for Casillas. Just had the most horrendous clanger v Weeds. A thing of beauty.
