Pre season you bust a ball to get your fitness back up. Mid season your playing once or twice to week which will maintain this. You won't see too much full throttle training during the season otherwise players will burn out. They'll obviously still do enough to maintain fitness but will focus more on positioning, tactics, set pieces, attack v defence etc than out and out fitness. Can't see anything to moan about. Aye. And both run longer than 4 minutes too.

TodwickOwl
I’m pretty sure the coaches aren’t going to train a squad full of 70% that are touching 30 into ground

Appreciate that the players are a joke, but his approach is so flipping boring. Just one of your recent posts Mr Positive *supporter* Want more? What's that got to do with 4 minutes of a training session? Such a try hard.
SiJ
Ah, so if you are critical of recent performances (which is perfectly valid imo), you have to be critical of everything...including a perceived lack of effort in training, which you have managed to take from 4 minutes of footage uploaded onto Youtube Sound logic from Bulgaria as always. Belfast Owl 2
All those whinging about the intensity of the session. Its like people having a meltdown when players had pizza on way home from a game It even turned out there was no cheese on the pizza
SiJ
I was expecting them to be partaking in a Gladiator (1990s tv show) style obstacle course. You know, Moses trying to run up "The Eliminator" and falling over; Wickham on the climbing wall etc.

I suppose that's the thing. There's none of that in the video. There's some warm up. some sprints. stretching. agility. piggy in the middle and 1v1s. Nothing tactical, no positional stuff, no set pieces, nothing that involves a unit of players working together.

Oh no they can't do that. Otherwise the other teams would figure us out.. . . . . I get me coat.

Don't show a full set piece session, sure. But there's not any evidence of us doing anything other than fitness and 'sharpness' training here.
