When I listen to someone talking, I like to think that they are quite thoughtful, and offer something more than I do to the situation.

When I listen to Gary Monk, I think - my god you are stupid.

That's just a fancy way of saying none isn't it.

You come on here slagging someone's intelligence then admit you're a bit fick yourself!  :ghoulguy:

We could salvage some purpose from this  horror show and use this as a running thread for each time Salmonbones posts something similarly brain dead.

Monk has a way of talking.

I find it strange, I wonder if the man passed any GCSE's.

Garry Monk answers readers questions....

I'd go to school but my mind wasn't always on the work in hand. Most of the reports said, "If Garry puts his mind to this subject then he could achieve something in life." The trouble was that during lessons all I wanted to do was be outside playing sport, especially football.

My mum and dad decided to take me along to the local Cubs pack. I enrolled, but I didn't last long. They threw me out, or should I say, asked my mum not to bring me back. They said I was a disruptive influence on the other boys, as all the time I was encouraging them to come outside and play sport with me. I thought they should learn more about football rather than how to tie knots! When I eventually left school, I didn't come out with particularly good grades. I suppose, looking back now, I should have knuckled down and worked harder.

Yeah he is a grunter.

He did an event there once, so they made him a patron or something.

So he goes to watch them, even states he supports them.

He will fit in nicely...

He married his female cousin, they have a son.

What would you like him to say?

Beyond commenting on the result, any sendings off, injuries and thanking the fans, there is little else to say.

He probably finds talking to the media very boring.

I would recommend debates, thousands of which can be found on Youtube if you are looking for something more stimulating.

Christopher Hitchens been a particular favorite of mine.

I'd like him as the manager articulate about things related to the game, for example:

- what were his tactics for the game

- what his thoughts on team selection were

- how he thought those plans went

- if it didn't go to plan, what caused that (our failings, or opposition strengths)

- what he did to combat those during the game

- how did he think certain players played, in particular subs.

- who he was pleased with, and why

- what specifically he feels he needs to work on for next time out.

- what injuries did we pick up

- which injured players might be back, and when.

Part of his job is to communicate with the supporters via the media, and the questions above are so very routine that I'm sure he is able to if he chooses. It's not that hard.
