Monk has a way of talking.

I find it strange, I wonder if the man passed any GCSE's.

If I said Monk is thick, he would say "Monk is Fick"

Has no one else picked up on this?

Is this GCSEs as in the plural sense?

Or is the apostrophe used in the above an indication of "thick" at grammar?

Has no one else picked up on this?

Does a football manager need to be able to speak "proper English" in order to manage his team? No.

Does a mechanic need to understand VoIP Network topologies? No.

Does an airline pilot need to know how to mix cement? No.

Does an Owlstalk poster need to know how to NOT be an utter twunt? No, but it'd be appreciated!

I suspect Ron Atkinson and Harry Redknapp didn’t go to Oxford or Cambridge. But they got the best out of what they had.

Although I draw the line at Paul Gascoigne, I think he’s a bit confused.

Ron did indeed "Study"at Oxford between 1959 and 1971 Sarge ..

He came away with 14 "degrees" after 387 attempts

When I listen to someone talking, I like to think that they are quite thoughtful, and offer something more than I do to the situation.

When I listen to Gary Monk, I think - my god you are stupid.

His post match interviews on RS start off on one train of thought and that is it. Just hit repeat to every question thereafter.

Spot on. He repeats himself constantly and says nothing of depth, insight or analysis of the game. Just comes out with sound-bites.

I hope he is better communicating with the players.
