Look at his signings   - set us back 5 years - at least!!

Genuinely believe he didn’t have much to do with signings while here. Was head coach in charge of footballing matters and DC and his dodgy mates did the transfers. Facts are he never wanted Jordan Rhodes. Nicest bloke you could wish to meet and best football we’ve seen in a very long time.

smoke n' mirrors, snake oil, bullshit, HE WILL come across well.

I though his third season was his most telling, IF he'd stayed he'd have got us out the championship.

yes his 3rd season was poor but getting to Wembley was a brilliant achievement, crap result but great day out.

I don’t get the hate for Carlos. Yeah, it went wrong in the end like it does for most managers but his first season was fantastic. I like the guy

Guaranteed to produce several pages of ridicule for anyone defending him

Theres those who are grateful for him giving us the best season for years where we all genuinely thought we were on our way.

He was loved by the media and consequently the clubs profile was raised and we were getting praise from all corners.

The other camp just won’t forgive him for the Final and the following years surrender to Huddersfield plus his legacy with regard the squad.

Youre either in one camp or the other and nothing that’s said will change your view.

Great manager if you need someone for 6 months up to a year.

IF he'd had the 'budget' of stuart gray, I think you'd have seen a different picture.

I bitterly regret dc not giving gray the money for a forward line, instead of the expensive rebuild that went on.

bullshitting conman, who STILL has some fooled.

as I posted the other day, what part of 2 play off disasters is worth the clubs best chance for (20+) years?

have some wednesday fans 'expectations' dropped so low as to look at play off failure as an honour?

there was a time not long ago on here when the pigs continued play off failings were a huge laughing matter, and remember just before he went to his 'boyhood dream club' the biggest body of people in sheffield wanting him to stay were pig fans.

What expectations were/are these then?

No bugger expects owt supporting this club.

Dem blades failed 7 times in the playoffs, 7 f-----g times, why wouldn't we laugh.

You can post as much as ya want about him being an "A thru to Z", I loved that first season, second weren't to shabby either.

that first season no one expected us to go up, and he got us so close, playoff finals are a bit of a lottery, if we’d have gone up he would have been a hero. Played very good football, created a good atmosphere at the club. Gets to much stick imo.

Better than Monk! His first season was the best football I’ve seen Wednesday play since our Premier League days. Unfortunately he lost the plot against Udders and it went downhill from there!

when dc took over (from memory) it was to take us to the premier, a huge amount bought into it, why wouldn't they?

so your 'no bugger' doesn't stand up.

was the first and second seasons failings, worth the third season disaster,? and a busted bank balance?

 to me IT WAS NOT.

I dont hate Carlos and agree he side in the 2015-16 was a breath of fresh air.
But even when we were doing well I always found a bit smarmy and I love with himself a bit too much.

Disagree  - i don't think you have to be one or the other

I think most realise it was a breath of fresh air when he came in

Big personality and got us looking good after it being soooooo bad for long!

We were on cloud 9 to get to the play offs

The bottom line is, i think he flattered to deceive and with the resources available to him should have done far better for much longer
