Ran out of steam and seemed to nesh games after the first season and had to go. No ill feeling really. Just a bloke. Being dragged along in a world that moves too quick for it's own good. That third goal in the semi against Chelsea absolutely fantastic goal. Carlos didn't sign the players contracts on the clubs behalf and we have had opportunities to move some of them on since he left. He created the first opportunity, we weren't a promotion contender or anywhere near expecting top 6 that 1st season, the performances & approach in the Huddersfield play-offs he does have to take a lot of responsibility for though. The 2004/05 season was my most enjoyable watching us since the good days in the PL but 2015-16 comes close and the quality was far better.
