Again he was poor and I'm sure you will all be telling me he is the best footballer in the club. Well if he is it's a sad state of affairs with our only plan seemingly to give it to him wherever we are on the pitch and let him do his magic. Unfortunately we don't see it that often. On the ball we get the odd clever pass but out of possession he offers little. His set pieces are poor and his goal return is awful. Maybe it's the tactics but he slows our play down allowing the opposition to get back in numbers preventing any advantage we may have had. Mark him out of the game as is often the case and we have no plan B. Good midfielders drive the team forward and dominate the middle of the pitch.
