Luongo red card

If anything Luongo was more sinned against than sinning their shitehouse Travis slid in from about a week away (the exact same type of challenge I’ve seen Bannan make and get booked for ) it looked to me that Luongo was trying to get his foot away to save his ankle being crunched

No way a red card and no way did it affect a disgusting performance by Wednesday

Disgusting, game changing rounduns of a decision!

Compare that to the Cardiff lads assault on Palmer!

It looked like he was trying to pull out of any challenge and wasn't intentional, as you say nowhere near as bad as the foul on Palmer against Cardiff.

We were 2nd best before the red card, with 11 men we might have been able to change things and make a game of it but the way we folded was embarrassing regardless of whether it was a correct decision or not.

The ref was shocking all game, he was so inconsistent with his decisions. He couldn’t wait to be in the lime light and show a red. Another ref that’s probably never played football before And doesn’t use common sense, just goes exactly by the book. I like to call them jobsworth.

Shocking decision and killed the game.

Contributing factors that killed the game !

  •  Bannan playing too deep.
  • Covering and tracking at the back abysmal.
  • Lee has lost the ability to kill a ball.
  • Murphy may be decent on the Road but he is Diarrhoea.
  • If we must play one up front it must not be Winnall.
  • Finally selections and game plan deployed by Monk.

Best bit of today was when Bannan got retribution on Travis in 2nd half and floored him and whilst he was laying on the floor pretending to be injured again Bannan walked back over looking like he was going to apologise to him but just stood over and said something to him. Love to know what he said he looked angrymad.

5-0 is unacceptable I agree. But we were fighting a losing battle the minute the ref showed the red.

At 1-0 Blackburn with 11 men you’ve always got a chance despite how poor we started. The 2nd and 3rd goals were fairly fortunate too.

Bad day at the office. But it was a bit of a freak day.

The game was already on life support. Red or not we were losing that game today.

Not necessarily. Go in at half time 1-0, we would have probably brought Harris on and gone two up top. Yes we started slow, but the game wasn’t dead. The red card ruined the afternoon and the entertainment, it was never a red.

You're entitled to your opinion, but for me there was no reaction from the players at 1-0 down even before Luongo went. Then at 10 men they hardly tried to make it difficult for Blackburn. Cardiff or Millwall with 10 are often more difficult to beat than with 11 because they'll die for their shirt.

It was a one paced, one dimensional performance. No guts , no application and deserved everything they got.

Half this team has to be moved on and quickly.

The final element of the 2nd goal was a little unfortunate but could have been prevented before that. Blackburn's full-back/wing-back took the p**s out of Reach and Fox all 1st half and did so to create space for the shot, Dawson got a weak hand to the shot and will probably feel he should have done more to turn it around the post but he was unfortunate to see it rebound in off him.

The 3rd goal was more haphazard defending than the first one.

Exactly

The red completely killed the crowd and put us even further on the back foot
