Wednesday - V- Blackburn OMDT

Recommended Posts

Excellent (mr burns twiddle fingers)! Had my cuppa with the traditional Saturday morning-ish read of another great OMDT, done the week's groceries, kids done their homework, everyone happy, what could possibly go wrong?

Oh wait, Wednesday playing a team that hasn't won for so many games... ffs, nerves on high. But I have faith in Monk and the boys, there is something different now, on the back of the Brighton and Leeds wins. This surely isn't another good form run about to be cut short, gut feeling tells me we'll win this, somehow. And that's good enough for me, even if it's a shoddy, hard-working performance. Btw, do they have Dack still? I hate Dack, seems to me get always plays well or scores against us, I don't like Dack lol

Anyhow...

Come on Wednesday!!

Just do it!!!

Now I know the Westwood thing has raised it's head again.

But here's a serious point.

Maybe....it makes sense to not have him on the bench.

Hear me out.

We know he's one of our top earners.

But what if he's got one of those clauses in the contract whereby he gets' a £3000 a week bonus for being in the matchday squad like Wim Jonk used to have?

Gets it whether he gets on the pitch or not.

if that's the case and in light of our monetary woes. Maybe it makes sense to have Wildsmith on the bench.

Afterall...how how times does the sub keeper actually come on in a game? Not many.

Westwood gets the weekend off and Wednesday save a few bob.

Everyones a winner.

*Just a suggestion. Not ITK or anything.
