In recent years smaller players have flourished on the biggest stages. Messi, Xavi, Iniesta, Aguero etc. But I can’t help but think if Bannan was a bit stronger and a couple of inches taller, he’d be unbelievable. Regardless he is still top class. As someone said in another thread Reach makes that run cos he is on his natural side and foot, if hes playing I think hes best on the left hand side and would create more for us. Agreed his stats should be far better and some games just don't suit him. Playing Hutch next to him for so many years hasn't helped us or him either.
