Now let’s get costs out of them plus loss of earnings for all those tickets we haven’t been able to sell on the North Stand.

I suspect costs will be waved in order that another prohibition notice is not served and a sensible solution can be found.

At the Sheffield Magistrates Court on 8 January, District Judge Redhouse allowed Sheffield Wednesday’s appeal against the Prohibition Notice served by Sheffield City Council on 25 July 2019.

The judge found that the notice was invalid.

The club are pleased to learn that the council has indicated it does not intend to issue a further notice immediately following this judgment but instead will work constructively with SWFC in the coming days regarding ingress and egress arrangements for supporters at the Leppings Lane end of the stadium ahead of our next home fixture against Blackburn Rovers on 18 January.

The club would like to thank all our supporters and local residents who have been impacted by the issuing of the notice.

Well f.ook me...Why not do that in the first place?

Nah...lets waste taxpayers money on going to court.....

F.ookin' wasters with an agenda that didn't pan out

Regardless of what opinions/agendas some of the chairman’s biggest critics have its 100% beyond me how anyone REALLY thought the club was in the wrong on this,  imagine South Yorkshire Police won’t be too amused tonight with this news

Good news. Be interesting to see if there's a backlash should they have to pay our costs too. If they do I'd like to know who is responsible for this colossal waste of taxpayers money and what their plan or agenda was.

Only downside is that the north might get busier now and the queues for pies will be huge. Or they'll sell out quicker.

Freedom of Information Act request to Sheffield City Council regarding this matter might be interesting.

Exactly. The city isn’t exactly flush with cash looking at the state of the city centre for starters. It could I’ll afford to throw money away yet that’s what it’s been forced to do trying to justify something which was blatantly ridiculous in the first place.

So... does that mean if I want to go to the match I can sit in the North stand now?

Absolutely...You simply have to apply to the council...provide them with a DBS check....When they reply, the season will be over and you will find you p*ssed in a doorway in 1976...

You then appeal....

The appeal will be subject to you providing a photo of yourself as you looked in 1976...(Try and provide one without yer to* dger hanging out)

The court of appeal will then call you before 12 just men and true (All Blades fans).............. (if they can find 12 that fit that criteria)

You will then either get a ticket on the North  ...or The Judge..The right honourable Bladey Mc Bladeface will don a black cap....

And may god have mercy on yer soul

It’s a disgrace innit,  and will be brushed under the carpet yet again
