I remember a game when he played an entirely left footed defence.

For some reason, I don't recall us winning...

I thought we'd reached a managerial nadir with him until Jos pitched up.

Totally misread that!

I thought you were asking for the shopped pic of Irvine covered in badges

Jos was definitely worse. Irvine was hopeless, but he didn't have much to work with.

West Ham, footballing club through and through. Got poo manager and poo coach. Ron Greenwood must be turning in his grave.

The game against Bournemouth in League 1 when he played Potter and O'Connor in central midfield with Tommy Miller and Giles Coke sort of on the wings.

To be fair to Jos he did do a good job when he first took over, it all went downhill in October the season after. Irvine didn't keep us up and had us heading towards the relegation zone in League One the year after, although he didn't have the quality of player Jos had granted.

I remember we won something like 5 out of his first 7 games and was then hailed as masterstroke getting him to the club.
Things went stale very quickly though after that.

I think after that we won something 2 out of 18, 3 wins would have kept us up!
