We'llNeverBeMastered
Just watching the Manchester derby, it got me thinking, so many clubs stand behind their goal, we must be one of the only ones that don't. I generally think standing has some form of influence on an atmosphere. What is it with nobody wanting to stand on the kop at Hillsborough? I think we need to be proactive now because home matches are becoming more of a chore now and in my homes opinion, it does have an effect on the players. Key
Best not let SAG hear of this suggestion; they’d close the ground down faster than any normal human being could read the OP!

Salmonbones
I do think we could do more to stick our own fans directly behind our goal. I now sit 6 rows back just to left of goal, it strikes me how very few season ticket holders we have there.
Justbeanz
Palace seem to have got it right. Always seems to be a decent atmosphere whenever I see em on TV.

Yep, it seems like people are scared to stand up at Hillsborough, I guarantee theres thousands who would want to stand on the kop on matchdays, but it doesnt seem to be 'the thing to do' at Sheffield Wednesday so nobody bothers, well apart from a couple of hundred at the back of the stands. Weshallovercome
We need to be choreographed, we need a singing section with 1 drum/drummer.

Blatter
Lots of standing and shock horror City fans kept in their seats whilst the stadium emptied of home fans. Of course that sort of thing is totally impossible to achieve just 39 miles away.
