Brighton tho...

Recommended Posts

lol

Surprised no one started this thread earlier.

Anyway, bo11ocks to them.

Yes, they're in the Prem and very well run and what not, but they're still Brighton.

Nearly ten years removed and they still haven't worked out that the whole *MASSIVE* thing was a joke.

Let them get back to their derby with Palace.

Premier League is full of tinpot clubs like Brighton that’s why the Blades are smashing it up at the moment

Hate to say it but United are bigger than half the clubs up there

Brighton are in a long list of cringeworthy top flight clubs

Problem us that it's this kind of attitude that makes us so unpopular.

All this big and small club stuff is balls. 20 years out of the top flight and a half full stadium that's falling down says we are not a big club. Brighton have a new stadium that's full every week and are hosting the likes of Liverpool and Man City every week.

These so-called smalls clubs are bringing in a quarter of a billion a year with a worldwide TV audience. In the world of football these days, we are the tinpot club, not them.

Are they bo11ocks.

A select few are bringing in that audience and the rest reap the benefits.

No one from America, China etc is tuning in to watch Brighton and Hove Albion.

The term 'big club' is not quantifiable imo

I was going to mention that.

Even Rovrum and Barnsley cottoned on.

Loads of them still banging on about it on their forum

Spose playing in an athletic stadium must have given them a chip on their shoulder

Yep.

A joke made in 2011? Still triggering people to this day.

Remarkable.

Point taken, but until they’re tuning in to watch SWFC, it’s not a    particularly persuasive argument IMHO

Brighton fans spent years watching their team in a temporary stadium over an athletics track, fair play to 'em I say.

I remember it well, they took wee wee out of us when we got relegated there, week later they went down with us. lol

But they wouldn't be.

The point is that only a handful of clubs in this country command a global audience.

We are not one of them and neither are Brighton and Hove Albion.

Form is temporary, class is permanent.

Big clubs like us and the likes of Forest and hate to say it L**ds should be in the Prem every year, not garbage like Bournemouth and Brighton.

Correct.

We are an irrelevance to a generation of football fans.

Yeah thats how it should work.

We would be there if we werent so tug for years. Bet you complain about the elite top 6 but take an elitist attitude.

We deserve to be there if we get promoted
