marcx666
I'm not one to have a go at the manager/team, chairman much, but God Monks game management is awful. What is that, 11/12 points we have thrown away in the last 10 minutes since he took over?
Pastor Kidneys
Time and again we're trying to clear our lines and hoofing straight back to Stoke as we left nobody up front. GM keeps pulling the same stunt and coming up with the same answer!!
Andrew_Owl
Nuhiu needs to be used as an impact sub, shouldn't be starting. 2

Someone already worked it out west Brom 1 point stoke 3 points Swansea 2 points blackburn 3 points cardiff 2 points derby 2 points 13 points That's just from 90th minute onwards. Mind you WBA Cardiff Derby was partly didgy refereeing.
cowl
Nuhiu's been poor for about a month now though. Not really sure what's the problem with him but he seems unfit. Prior to this last month he was playing well. In any case, he needs taken out of the team for a while. Hopefully, Fletcher's back, but if not then I'd say it's Winnall's turn to start some games. McRightSide
It’s a mentality of the players. Getting ribbed about it by youth team players at SWFC Christmas parties tells you that much. Dodgy subs however, are down to Monk.

gurujuan
Let’s not forget, none of these players are his signings We can see he is not happy with our attacking options, and the January window cannot come quickly enough. A couple more mobile options up front, and we may not need to just try and hang on
bronxowl
Our inability to do these simple things hasn’t been addressed; The front 2, don’t bother going up to their defenders if you’re not going to chase the ball down and get a foot in. Stop just going through the motions, all our front players do it.Phuking lazy. We can’t defend as a team under the cosh, slow to the ball, wrong side of attacker, constantly giving fouls away because we’re always a yard short. Birley Owl 1867
Players need to stand up and take charge themselves. It is partly Monk and partly the players fault, but the players will get away scot free with it on the most part.

Animis
It's almost like I expect an opposition goal in injury time. Two in one game gave to lose 3 points is bewildering and Monk needs to sort it out, as it's going to affect the season.

Kinda emphasises the point, none of the three should be starting, but we don’t have anyone else
Mr Farrell
This season has been the worst for chucking games away I can remember in 40 years. Something is fundamentally wrong in our approach. It's not coincidence.
Daz
It’s already had a major impact on our season.

Winnall is more mobile than Rhodes and Nuhiu, but that's mostly because they are two of the least immobile strikers around. If we're forced to select two from those three, they'll be a poor pairing. I wouldn't even call Fletcher 'mobile', but again, compared to these 3, he's nimble. We need a wider range of options from amongst our pool of strikers, that's for sure. All three are mobile options, trouble is they’re not in areas where we use their pace or mobility. You’d expect when under the cosh at end at least one of them be as high up the field as possible to have an outlet? But no, they’re stood on each other’s toes getting in each other’s way. It’s not the speed or mobility of who was there, it’s how they’re set up and applied.

Owlinmad
To be a good footballer you need speed of thought. As a squad we have very little of it.
