Don't feel like I've been kicked in the teeth, despite the last-minute goal. Truth is, we deserved nowt from the game, and any points we went home with would have been absolutely stolen from Stoke. As fantastic as Iorfa has been this season, IMO the first and third goals are down to his individual mistakes. Not that he should ruminate on that too long... the entire team was turd for the majority of the game, and two set-piece goals doesn't undo that. Ultimately we were outfought and outclassed by an opposition that just wanted it more.

Too many passengers in our side unfortunately.

Been so, so, apparent all season

It doesn't surprise me any more with this lot its part of their makeup to lose their heads as soon as the pressure hits and when they scored in the 93rd i knew they would go on to win, it will more than likely happen a few more times this season too.

At least we get a good level of consistency from most of our armchair fans.

Scramble football from Stoke paid off, aided to a great extent by the referees equal treatment of the sides with a foul count of 26 - 5 in Stokes favour.

Stoke battled hard and got the rub we can't grumble at the result. We had some poor performances from back to front only Dawson shone MOM.

Sadly,Today's performance plus many others where we have dropped points from winning positions,Just highlight the fact that we are at least two maybe three quality players short of going on to the next level. As things stand,we are a mid table team at best.:tango:

As things stand we are a play off team ......at best

Giving away goals and losing points in that last 5 minutes of play has become too ingrained as a habit - without which , despite rarely playing well this season , we'd be in the top two.

Come on you coaches - what is the cause - and what ( apart from confidence ) is the solution ?

Poor performance all round, can live with that if it proves to be a win off, 2 winnable homes games coming up that we have to make count.

It would have been daylight robbery had we come away with 3 points considering how bad we were for the first hour but effective teams know how to get results when they are not playing well. We almost managed it but our panic station stuff in the closing stages of games we are winning is alarming.

Today proves once again how reliant we are on Fletcher and how much we need a mobile striker who can be alert in and around the box. We managed to get further up the field when Rhodes and Nuhiu went off - neither of them can hold the ball up effectively, nor can they make runs that allow us to play in the opposition half.

Woefull. We deserved NOTHING today. You can say we threw it away or blame the officials, but we was second best. They won first and second balls, pressed and Allen did a job on Bannan, thus stopping us. We scored two flukey goals and never tested Butland, unlike Dawson (my man of the match). Monk didn’t have a plan B sadly, but it’s one of those Boxing Day results and we need to move on.

It does happen as even West Brom conceded at the end to Barnsley which is a far worse result than ours. I think it's just so often with us.

Poor team selection. Would have been inclined to start with 5 in midfield as Nuhiu is turbo-shuffle and neither him or Rhodes can hold up high balls pinged at them at 1000mph. Hopefully Fletcher will be back and a few dropped after today’s debacle.
