Personally hope he stays. Him and Fletcher going forward could work out very well. Any chance Celtic would want Nuhiu I wonder :-)

Change his name to McNuihu and have him wear a kilt, perhaps they might go for it!

Total and utterbollocks.

First thing they would have to do is build new stadiums cos the current ones are nowhere near big enough for the support they would get

With the prem money and their own revenue streams going through the roof they would end up there with Liverpool and Man U in stature

If celtic played in england, they would be a bournmouth, burnley with a similar support of newcastle...in a good season they would be an everton

If Celtic played in England with that support and the size of the club + the money that comes with being in the Premier League they'd soon be able to attract the very best players and become a proper force again.

Only IMO of course.

I'm sorry mate, but it does.

If they were a big club, they'd just be able to say no. But players use them as a stepping stone to bigger things. Porto, Benfica etc are similar in regards too.

Money is everything in football these days.

We're a smaller club than Brighton now, due to money. Sad fact, but a true one.

Doesn't that all depend what you are basing "being a big club" on?

Personally I dont think basing it on how much money they have necessarily makes them a big club - there are clubs in the Premiership which I still wouldn't class as a "big club".

Leeds I would class as a big club as I would Celtic - neither are in the Premiership.

Wouldn’t most teams?

I must have missed Bournemouth in the Champions League.

Name one truly good player, in their prime years, to have played in scotland since their last world class player in Henrik Larsson left in 2004.

"Truly good" lol

I mean, Van Dijk did.

That Nakamura fella was pretty decent.

I could list numerous good players who have plied their trade in Scotland at some point. Yeah, they haven't been awash with world class talent (money again), but still.

And this still doesn't get away from the point that a move to Celtic would be a great one for Jordan Rhodes.
