room0035 Posted December 19, 2019 Share Posted December 19, 2019 (edited) In other news Stoke announced their accounts yesterday that detailed that their chairman paid in £4,000,000 last season in sponsorship from their related business activities. They lost £15.4m but due to parachute payments of in excess of £40m the results are not as bad as they could have been. But Stoke City are an ex premier league club so operate under different rules. The same accounts also noted they got £51m in tv money last season compared to our £7m and here lies the difference caused by parachute payments. But I do agree the fake companies bit is a farce, why not just put his own name on everything instead of the made up companies.
