Blue and white
Another solid performance and another clean sheet. Definitely growing into the role of number 1 and long may it continue. Definitely needs a new long term contract. 1
Mystic Neg
100% agree he is the future. One good thing about being a Wednesday fan is we always seem to have a decent keeper!

steelerian
Good post. He is massively growing in confidence and quite obviously starting to believe he belongs there. For a goalkeeper that is crucial, and maybe something he didnt have before. Keep it up Cammy lad. (And how great is it to see Sheffield lads and Wednesday fans in the team?) Quadzilla
His way into the first team has been far more natural this time around but his experience from last year is certainly helping him. Having a better defence in front of him counts for a lot too.

Brissy-owl
Becoming a solid goal keeper, be sad to see westwood go but his time here is almost done
Inspector Lestrade
Don't get me wrong he's a smashing keeper with long footballing future ahead but he had an easy ride today he had time to do a crossword.
Sgt Wednesday
This is exactly how it should happen, an experienced Westwood taking the lead for the last few years and the younger keepers developing in the background. The perfect ending would be to see Cammy overtake Westwood, lets not make it a negative. Also lets not underestimate Westy's contribution to the development of Dawson. 3

Its definitely Dawson's to lose but I've always advocated that no one should be gaurenteed a place in the starting 11. It's up to Dawson to continue to work hard because there is a cracking keeper on the bench who will want to get back to the starting 11 and that goes for any player in the entire squad. Guest
It’s Dawson’s to lose , but having one of the leagues best keepers biting at his heels is gonna he a challenge , if he pulls it off he’s clearly our No1 for many years to come
Anlaby Owl
There will still be occasions when dawson is 'dropped' for a few weeks but its obvious that (baring injury) his periods out of the team will become increasingly short. Its somewhat interesting to think that it may NOT be westwood that replaces him when he is out of the side?????
swfc-dan
Ever since he came into the team our turnaround in results began. Yes we've been scoring many more goals, but it can't be a coinsidence at the back as we've conceded many less also. Really pleased for him as he is our future in goal. Sounds like Kieron had been like a mentor for Cam and really helping him in all facets. Definately a huge factor for him looking so competent now, so well done Kieron for that.
