Owls want Lyle Taylor

Recommended Posts

Better than 1 in 2 for Charlton and only slightly over that in his career. Maybe a late developer who's gone under the radar having spent most of his career at shiit clubs. Will be cheap in January and at 29 has a potential 3 years at a decent level. Fine by me.

Learn what ?

Not to take gossip as fact ?

Okay I'll play

We shouldn't really be looking at players looking for a last pay day

There's plenty of young talent available on loan that will improve our first team

And we're gossiping on a forum designed for football gossip

If you're taking it as fact, that's your problem

I'm just gossiping with my fellow Wednesdayites

Just a bloke, who used up all his luck in one go when he met his wife.

If their is no transfer fee and we ship a few out cant see a problem. But think we need another younger one as well. Can cut Winnall and Rhodes.

If Monk thinks he is what we need, then I'll back his judgement

Leeds have got two fantastic youngsters on loan from teams in the premier

The centre back from Brighton, and the striker from Arsenal

I think that is the path we should be taking

I'd love us to find a striker similar to Nketiah

Finally someone sees sense

Since when has 29 been old lol Jesus wept. He’s at least got 3-4 years left at this level if he keeps up his fitness etc

It's amazing that many said our strikers were our strongest area when in reality we have only one who is performing consistently and he is out of contract in the summer.

Not sure I've seen any posts stating that our strikers were our strongest area. From the start of the season the opinion has been that we need 1 or 2 pacy strikers to complement Fletch who, like you state, is the only consistent one we have.

mate of mind who supports Bristol said the loan fee for Nketiah was multi million. Just to loan him? Can’t see that fitting in our budget. The top top players available on loan arn’t free.

I think when derby signed that midfielder for £10m it was because it worked out better for ffp than paying his loan fee.

I remember when David McGoldrick was being suggested as a signing from Ipswich and there wasn’t much enthusiasm. He’s now a PL striker.

As stocks says above if we could swap Winnall for Taylor it might be a shrewd move.  As long as it’s Monk’s decision who goes and stays then we’ll be in safe hands
